Paying it forward: an interview with the CXR Foundation Board

Chris Hoyt, president of the CXR Foundation, sat down with one of our board members to ask that question. Celeste Luzadder, Senior Director, Strategy & People Operations at LegalZoom and member of the CXR Foundation Board of Directors, had an answer for her involvement as well as why others should consider joining the CXR Foundation. “Being part of a nonprofit that is near and dear to the work that you do is a special opportunity. We are often used to taking care of our own business community – of partnering and supporting a business unit – but we don’t always extend that to the talent community.”
Celeste is particularly excited about one of the Foundation’s early projects, Project One. This project is focused on helping those in the talent industry who are open for work. The Foundation is looking to enlist employed talent professionals to dedicate themselves to having one conversation with one job seeker for one hour – in an effort to make all the difference for one industry peer. As Celeste notes, “I have benefited from mentors and career coaching myself which ultimately changed the course of my career.”
